Omer Study: Read the Whole Torah in 49 Days
Every year, in the period of counting the Omer between Passover and Shavuot, we choose a particular book or Jewish text to study together as a congregational community. This year, we will explore our people’s story by reading the entire Torah in English, as a community, over the course of 49 days.
You can sign up to study either on your own or with a partner. If you feel ambitious, sign up for more than one day a week! By splitting up the days of the week among the learners in our community, together we will fulfill a mitzvah: reading the entire Five Books of Moses over the seven weeks leading up to Shavuot, when we celebrate receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai.
