Temple Sinai Congregation of Toronto

Who We Are

Welcome home! Temple Sinai is more than a synagogue community; it is a spiritual home. We hope that you choose to become part of our Temple family. There are many warm, wonderful people who make up our congregation. Whether at lifecycle moments, learning opportunities, prayer and celebration, or tikkun olam, Sinai has a place for you!

Our synagogue is a place where tradition and innovation meet. Members lead services day and night and chant Torah at our minyan and on Shabbat and festivals. We offer robust social action and Jewish learning opportunities. At the same time, we partner with a local Jewish theatre company to bring new energy and insight to prayer and regularly premiere new musical compositions. We inspire learning and leadership in our youth through a program that goes far beyond our home base.

We are proud to be part of the Reform movement and our partnerships with Israeli Reform congregations in Modi’in and Be’er Sheva are only one part of our profound engagement with the State of Israel.

Join us at Temple Sinai! By becoming part of our engaged, energetic congregation, you help support the vital work that we do, the creativity that we offer, and the living tradition that we celebrate.
