This Shabbat, Parashat Vayishlach, is our introduction to the name Yisra’el, Israel. We will have a special visit from Rabbi Myra Hovav, leader of our sister congregation Ramot Shalom in Beer Sheva. She will share how, like here in Toronto, some things have changed significantly in Israel during the pandemic and other things, for good and bad, remain the same.
Welcome Rabbi Hovah (virtually) home to Sinai as we have the chance to have a connection to Israel on this special Shabbat morning!
