Friday, March 3 at 9.00 a.m. (after Boker Tov)
Join us for a special BYOB as we connect with our sister synagogue in Israel, Ramot Shalom!
Together with Rabbi Myra Chovav, we will participate in the dedication of a new parochet (Torah curtain) on the ark in Ramot Shalom. We’ll be joined by Shulamit Ron, the artist who designed and sewed the parochet, who will share her insights on the design, and Nira Carmeli who will share some stories about her family (the very first pioneers in Be’er Sheva) to whom the parochet is dedicated.
We’ll also take the opportunity to remember Ben Steinberg together, and his impact on Reform Judaism worldwide.
