Whether in comedy (Meatballs) or drama (Law and Order), Harvey Atkin distinguished himself as an actor whose range and professionalism enabled him to perform on par with some of the most famous actors of our time such as Burt Lancaster, Bill Murray, Gene Wilder, and Dustin Hoffman. Temple Sinai honours his memory by giving young Jewish performers a chance to further their careers, showcase their talents to entertainment industry professionals, and provide us with a great way to celebrate Purim!

On Monday evening, March 6 at 7.30 p.m., in addition to the Megillah reading, and the Toronto premiere of “Esther in the Spotlight” by Rich Orloff, joining us will be performers Olivia Daniels, Daniel Greenberg, Lucas Kalechstein, Berkley Silverman, Nico Solarte and Jenny Weisz. Each of them has already left their mark on stage, television or up on the big screen.

Hosting will be Temple Sinai’s very own David Eisner with special appearances by Gabi Epstein, Avery Saltzman, Temple Sinai clergy, and with musical direction by the one and only Mark Camilleri.

Pre-register to attend in-person by Sunday, March 5 at 5.00 p.m.

Should you wish to attend in-person after registration has closed, please contact Marcie for availability at 416.487.4161.

This program is sponsored in loving memory of lifetime member and resident filosof Harvey Atkin z”l by Celia Tessler Atkin.
