Kayli Balaban
Kayli Balaban has been a member of the Temple Sinai congregation for 15+ years since getting married. Her two children have been part of the Temple community in both the preschool program and Hebrew school.
Kayli completed her medical degree and psychiatric residency at the University of Toronto. She has worked at Mt. Sinai Hospital, North York General Hospital and in the community for the past 13 years. Her practice focuses on perinatal mental health and supporting families who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy or death of a child. Kayli has helped develop and co-facilitate numerous hospital and community support groups for the perinatal population. Currently she sees patients both virtually and in person; while continuing to co-facilitate a Late Loss Community Support Group.
Kayli has enjoyed volunteering throughout her academic and professional career. Presently, she volunteers for ‘Meals on Wheels’ on a weekly basis. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, skiing and spending time outdoors with her family.
