Deborah Epstein-Franks

Deborah has been part of the Reform Jewish community since birth. Her parents were founding members of Temple Har Zion and The Leo Baeck Day School, where Deborah attended from preschool to Grade 8.

After teacher’s college, Deborah returned to Leo Baeck where she worked from 1997 to 2017, first as a teacher then as Middle School Coordinator and Dean of Students.

Deborah is a psychotherapist with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. She currently runs a private practice for adolescents, young adults and families in mid-town Toronto.

Deborah and her family joined Temple Sinai in 2003. All three of her children, Jeremie, Josh and Jamie, attended nursery school and became b’nei mitzvah at Temple Sinai.
