Andrew Edelberg

Andrew has accomplished all his Jewish milestones with Temple Sinai; This began with religious and Hebrew school, then Bar Mitzvah and confirmation and finally his wedding and daughter’s naming ceremony. He is the second generation in his family to be a member of Temple Sinai; his parents’ involvement in the congregation has instilled a foundation of philanthropy in his life.

To the board Andrew brings his life experience. Professionally he offers his experience in finance. He spent nearly a decade in capital markets working for Canadian banks and brokerages in equity and credit analysis. In 2019, he transitioned into commercial lending. He is currently a relationship manager at one of Canada’s largest non-bank lenders. Personally, he provides his perspective as a young professional and father who is working hard to prioritize Judaism in a changing world with increasing demands.

Andrew is honoured to be given an opportunity to help shape the future of Temple Sinai for his congregation and family.
