TESTIMONIALS
As a recent retiree, I was interested in participating in new activities and became aware of the Pilates Connections class through a fellow Temple member. The class appealed to me as something I could participate in, not only to improve my own well-being, but also as an opportunity to connect or reconnect with like-minded Temple members. The class has exceeded my expectations, and I thoroughly enjoy being involved in this program.

I have always been involved with Temple. I have had the opportunity to work at religious school and fulfill my community service hours.

We decided to get involved with the Young Families group because it is essential for us to be a part of a strong and vibrant Jewish community. We want our son to grow up surrounded by others who share our common values, history and traditions. We know that it’s important for him to make these connections at a young age so that he can build amazing lifelong relationships.

One takes a ball of yarn, casts on some stitches and in the end, one has a toque for the soldiers, a hat and scarf for the homeless, or a blanket for the women’s shelter. This is very satisfying to me.

I like participating in the youth group, LOTSSY, especially the social action events like making sandwiches for the homeless or visiting youth at a group home. There are also many volunteer opportunities available.
