Grade 1 Virtual Consecration Celebration

Torah, Community and Chanukkah!
Friday, December 11 at 5.00 p.m.

At Temple Sinai and in Reform Judaism, we mark the milestone of educating children in Jewish tradition and beginning one’s journey with Torah with a special ceremony and celebration. Consecration honours our grade 1 students before their families and community with joyous song and a participatory service.

This year, we are not able to be together in person; however, we are able to be together online with our clergy and other grade 1 families to celebrate the important milestone of consecration as a community.

Each family will receive a special consecration box delivered to their home the week of December 1 from our clergy and education staff that includes the Temple Sinai song for consecration, parent blessing and a mini Torah. The Torah includes a unique cover, knit for your child by our Temple Sinai Stitchers, and decorations to customize their Torah.

Once registered, you will receive the link.
