Yom Hashoah V’hagvurah 2023 Community Commemoration
Monday, April 17 at 7.00 p.m.
This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising, an act of resistance and revolt by hundreds of Jewish insurgents in 1943. Join us to commemorate this historic event, with two survivors of the uprising, Pinchas Gutter and Irene Kurtz. The program will also include remarks from dignitaries, choirs, and a candle-lighting ceremony to memorialize and pay tribute to the victims of the Shoah and to honour the survivors.
