Join us for this important discussion regarding men’s health. Guest speaker, Dr. Robert Nitkin, MD FRCPC FACC will talk about common heart diseases in men with particular emphasis on coronary artery disease.
Learn important risk factors and preventative measures, common diagnostic tests, treatments including diet, lifestyle modification, medications, stents, bypass surgery, and newer treatments that are currently the subject of research.

Robert, who is recently retired, was a Cardiologist at the Scarborough Hospital, Birchmount Campus, for 37 years. He was trained at both the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine and at Stanford Medical Center in California. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
