Join Rabbi Larry Englander for his all-new 4-week course, where you’ll have the opportunity to study the Israel Declaration of Independence and the hopes and values it put forth for the new state. We’ll also explore the mystical teachings of Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook and how he influenced the “settler movement” of today. Together, we’ll discover how moderate religious Zionism is paving the way for a new Jewish identity in Israel. We’ll also discuss the role of Reform Judaism, both in Israel and in the Diaspora, in instilling democratic Jewish values into Israeli society today.
