The Jewish Content of Famous North American Musicians and Poets
Tuesdays, August 24 and 31 at 12.00 p.m.
There are lots of Jewish singers and writers, some of whom identify publicly and proudly as Jews.
Here’s a sample of some of the music and poetry we’ll discuss:
• Canadians: Leonard Cohen (of course!), Elizabeth Brewster, A.M. Klein, Amy Sky
• Americans: Bob Dylan (of course!), Paul Simon, Barbara Streisand
• And maybe a couple of Israelis into the mix!
