Accessibility

By preserving the value of inclusion that was established almost 70 years ago, Temple Sinai remains a diversely rich community today. Part of creating an inclusive environment is the ability for all to participate in Jewish life. All floors of our building are accessible by elevator, including the bimah. Our services offer large-print and braille prayer books. Accessible parking and washrooms are available, along with automatic doors. If you have a request or need special assistance, please contact Fran at fran@templesinai.net.

Children’s Tickets

Families with children ages 5 to 12 will be issued tickets to early and Sh’ma Koleinu services. Children ages 2 to 7 have the option of registering for High Holy Days Chaverim (see below for details). A Parenting room will be provided for those with children under the age of 2. Services will be available on closed circuit TV. Stroller parking will be available outside the Temple doors.

High Holy Days Chaverim

Drop off program for children 2 to 7 years old to enjoy special services with Rabbi Larry Englander and Shoshi Lugassy (Director of Early Childhood Programs). Learn about the High Holy Days while participating in art projects, singing songs and enjoying a snack together. Registration is required. Spaces are limited. Toilet training is a plus, but not a must.

Open to the Community

You’re welcome to bring guests to our open services. This is an opportunity to introduce the warmth of Temple Sinai to friends and family. Registration is required.

Masking Policy for High Holy Days

We welcome everyone to join our in-person services. Please note that masking is encouraged, but optional in the Main Sanctuary and in our Green Family Sanctuary. If you’re feeling unwell or are symptomatic, please stay home and join our services online.
