Building Maintenance Fund
Each new member is assessed one year’s membership contribution, payable over three years (minimum $420). New members under the age of 37 are given the option of paying the assessment either commencing in the year they join or in any year up to and including the year in which their 37th birthday occurs. Where the member chooses to defer the payment, the amount is based on the membership income category applicable in the year in which the payments commence. For married members, the age of the older spouse is determinative.

Security
A levy based on 4% of your basic membership contribution to maintain an acceptable level of security around our building throughout the year.

Union for Reform Judaism (URJ)
The URJ charge is calculated at 12% of the basic membership contribution plus $10 per family unit to support Camp George, our Canadian Reform camp. This affiliation is an obligation of membership.

Cemetery
Plots are available for members and their immediate family only at the special discounted rate of $1600 plus HST—$900 off the regular non-member price. A down payment of $400 per plot + $208 HST for a total of $608 is required to reserve your plot. The balance is payable in four equal installments of $300 annually.

If you would like to discuss your requirements, please call the Temple Office at 416.487.4161 or Paul Yanover, Cemetery Committee chair, at 416.927.0295.

If you have purchased a plot and are paying for the plot(s) in four installments, your statement will reflect your 2012/2013 installment.

Payment Arrangements
Temple is offering congregrants the opportunity to pay their dues in eight installments. When renewing your membership, please provide the Temple with the method of payment for your account. This does not mean that you have to pay the account in full at this time; rather, we are asking you to send us postdated cheques or provide us with your Visa or MasterCard information by filling out the Membership Contribution Payment Schedule.
