Temple Shabbat Dinner
The wisdom of Torah comes in many forms! In fact, each of us is a teacher of Torah. The young and the old and all ages and stages in between offer their own perspective. We instruct with our actions even more than our words. Whether participating in Tot Shabbat or a TSSC program, producing Jewish theatre or celebrating Israel’s birthday, we all are Jewish role models when we put our values into action. — Rabbi Daniel Mikelberg
Jewish education is not just for the die kinder. Our “big kids” need and like to learn too. So Temple’s Adult Studies Committee works year round to satisfy our members’ hunger for answers. Grown-up Jewish questions are probed and assumptions challenged with in-depth text study, engaging speakers, and innovative learning events. Our Adult Hebrew class and Torah Trope class also brought new energy and excitement.
Whether it’s a study of Genesis or modern-day Jewish life in both Israel and The Diaspora, the joys of group learning never stop at Temple. From our summer lunch and learn series, to our pre-Shabbat study, to our expanded slate of speakers and scholars, Temple’s Adult Studies programming is always fresh, welcoming, and different.
And because there can be no Torah without bread, there’s always a nosh. Bring your appetite — both kinds!
