From Our Co-Chairs
I joined Temple Sinai because I was looking for a place where my family and I would feel a connection to our religion. We wanted our children to grow up in a shul where they would feel like they were part of a family as well as providing a place to develop their religious education and knowledge. We have met many wonderful people, who have become friends, and our children are excited every time they come to Temple Sinai. They love the monthly Tot Shabbats, the holiday programs, and the friends they have met at Temple Sinai.
I am honoured to be co-chairing the Young Families Committee this upcoming year. Our committee has become a group of friends, and we gladly welcome anyone who would like to join us. My husband, children, and I are looking forward to another fantastic year at Temple Sinai.

Being new to Toronto and starting a family, I wanted a Jewish foundation for myself and for my family.
I "shul shopped" for almost a year and wasn't completely satisfied with what was out there. Driving by, I saw the sign for Temple Sinai. I pulled into the parking lot, walked in, and immediately felt the warmth from the staff inviting me to the family Chanukkah party and handing me a membership package. As I walked out, I knew this was the place for me, my husband Jeremy, and our new baby, Bella.
Our family loves attending Tot Shabbats, Family Chanukkah Party, and the Yom Ha'atzmaut Party (just to name a few!). We meet new friends, we eat good food, and our children grasp more and more Hebrew and Jewish traditions.
