Welcome our 2012/2013 Israeli Emissaries to Temple Sinai
Ben Yael and Shoval RozenbergTemple Sinai welcomes our 2012/2013 Israeli Emissaries, Shoval Rozenberg and Ben Yael, who will be joining us in September. They will be involved in a number of Temple programs, including school and youth learning opportunities. During the year, take some time to welcome our visitors, learn about Israel, and speak some Hebrew.

Shoval Rozenberg, born in Haifa, Israel, works for a Reform synagogue, Kehilat Yedid Nefesh, engaging children in Jewish educational activities. In 2010, Shoval joined a delegation of Reform synagogue youth who were visiting Israel from England. It was a great learning opportunity in which she could teach Jewish youth about Israel and meet many new people. Shoval also volunteers for Maden David Adom where she helps the medics and goes out on emergency calls. During her army service, Shoval would like to work in the intelligence unit and afterwards would like to attend university and study international relations.
Shoval loves spending time with family and friends, travelling, and reading.

Ben Yael, born in Rishon Letzion, Israel, is very active in school life and his community. During high school, he was chairman of his student government, took part in a business development project for teenagers and was an anti-drug education ambassador. After the army, Ben plans to attend university and study software engineering.
Ben’s hobbies include spending time with friends, watching movies, and going to the beach.

Enjoy the Experience of a Lifetime
Volunteer to Host a 2012/2013 Israeli Emissary
Shoval and Ben, have joined our community for the year. They will take part in Temple life, share their experiences in our school, and enjoy the camaraderie of our youth groups. Do you have room in your home and your heart to host one of these Israeli Emissaries for a three-month period? Enjoy the experience of a lifetime and create a wonderful family environment with a new Israeli son or daughter.
