After completing her studies at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law, Madeleine decided to dedicate her legal career to the regulation of financial institutions. She worked for close to seven years at the Bank of Montreal, but she has now switched gears and joined a regulator. While at BMO, Madeleine co-chaired a diversity committee where she worked to raise awareness of different issues facing employees of a variety of backgrounds.
Madeleine is originally from Montreal where she was a member of Temple Emanu-El Beth Sholom for many years, prior to joining Temple Sinai in 2012. Madeleine was a Temple Sinai delegate on the 2014 March of the Living and she now organizes events for Temple’s NextGen and lawyer groups. In their spare time, Madeleine and her husband Danu Mandlsohn enjoy Toronto’s culinary and cultural scenes.
